Are the list of bloggers updated? How was the conference in Portland by the way?
The Complete List of Beer Bloggers is always updated with the info we have available. The list of attendees of the 2011 Beer Bloggers Conference was not updated but I have done so now.
How do I get important information to each of the beer bloggers listed?
Hi Rod,
At this point, there is no way to do so. As you can guess, many people would like to contact all the bloggers but we don’t have their permission to give out email addresses.
I understand; but I have the best thing for beer lovers since the bottle or can! Do you have a phone number? You’ll love it too!
A Call to Action: Growing the Beer Bloggers Conference | The Fledgling Brewer // Aug 25, 2011 at 10:27 pm
[...] At the conclusion of last weekend’s 2011 Beer Bloggers Conference in Portland, Ore., organizer Allan Wright of Zephyr Adventures offered grave news as he wrapped up the event. He said the conference, now in its second year, needs to double in size. Otherwise, it’s just not viable. (For reference, last year’s attendance totaled 108. This year’s head count was somewhere around 90, which included among its number roughly 8 percent of the 700-plus “citizen beer bloggers” in North America.) [...]
My god, that’s quite the list! Good work!
I know this would be difficult to do, but do you think you could add which state the blogger resides in, so that if we travel to that area, we can make contact with bloggers in the area?
It is an excellent idea, Eric. We do have states for many of the blogs and so can do this. I’ll put it on the To Do list – it might take a couple months.
